Next is a topic that we haven't discussed yet, and it might not be getting enough discussion out there in fantasy football land.
Christian McCaffrey has now missed an entire week of practice with tightness, and that's all we know.
It's just, quote, "tightness."
So we know what the timeline has been over the last two seasons, and I, I am fearful that this is going to give not just me, but everyone out there nightmares about 2024 with the vagueness of this reporting.
So Hayden, I'm springing this on you, but is this impacting your thought process at all with CMC for this season?
I moved Jonathan Taylor up.
I didn't know you were gonna ask me about this.
I moved Jonathan Taylor to fifth and McCaffrey at sixth.
I couldn't get down to Amon-Ra St. Brown and JSN to, to put McCaffrey behind those guys just because I think, like, the crazy upside that McCaffrey has is still maybe a tier above what Amon-Ra and JSN.
But the longer this, this lingers, you could move him down to, like, eighth overall.
But un- until proven otherwise, I got Jonathan Taylor ranked ahead.
Jonathan Taylor's been very good at fantasy football, if you guys have not been paying attention too.
Yes.
Again, in, in games the Colts have won, Jonathan Taylor has averaged over 30 half PPR points last season.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, so, like, it's not like you're sacrificing upside by moving- Correct Christian McCaffrey behind Jonathan Taylor.
There's plenty of upside with, JT.
I mean, we should have seen 2024 coming with how he was held out of all off-season activities, basically.
And then when we got to last summer, he was practicing a lot.
He was involved a lot, albeit we had maybe some shenanigans towards the end there heading into week one.
But we got there, and then he played, and he was the only 49er that was not injured throughout the entire time.
So it is on my radar a little bit.
Like, maybe we reset and reconvene next week at this time if CMC is still not practicing, and that'll be like, you know, a grade level seven versus where I'm at right now of, like, a little nervousness at three.
I will say with both Nick Bosa and Christian McCaffrey, I wonder if their tightness is, you know, related to the contracts that they have.
Okay.
They don't have a lot of guaranteed money.
The McCaffrey stuff pops in right after Bijan and Jahmyr Gibbs are basically making, like, twice as much as Christian McCaffrey, this season.
So I, I could see, oh, this soreness may be, you know, is, tied to my bank account more than, more than anything.
And at, at that point, I would move McCaffrey back up to, to fifth.
