I do say that Aman Ras-Saint Brown is a smash this week.
Uh, and Jamison Williams is more of a, if you if you get disappointed, Don't say, don't be, like, don't say I don't didn't tell you so.
How about that?
Maybe thats the best way I can put this.
'Cause it's hard to say bench Jamison Williams in a semifinal or a very important game.
But I just want to say, Steelers defense, they moved Jalen Ramsey to deep safety.
Um, he is, he's a guy I wrote about this recently.
But the Steelers defense went from a bottom 8, bottom-10 pass defense to a top 10, Since he moved to safety and James Pierre moved to outside corner.
Uh, they were 9th in passing success rate, 8th in EPA per pass allowed since Week 9.
So we're getting to a good sample size now.
Um, but it's interesting, there's splits.
He has kind of put a nice cap on defense.
It's made him safer, It's made Pierre being on the outside, has made him better against outside receivers.
They're 20, or I'm sorry, they're 7th in EPA versus receiver targets.
Um, to the outside.
James Pierre is 1st in yards per target allowed, 4.6.
6th and 2nd in success rate allowed among All NFL cornerbacks.
He was injured last week against Miami.
Uh, Sante Samuel Jr., I believe, played instead, but he's been playing very well.
And against slot targets, they're 24th in EPA uh, against slot targets.
So it's a clear split of what they have, also how they play defense.
Um, where they will let stuff happen in the seams makes more sense.
It just seems like more of a big Amon Ross Saint Brown week.
And more of a maybe average-ish Jamison Williams week, Uh, and so I'm just saying in the semifinal, maybe there should just be a little more fear.
With Williams, then maybe I, uh, maybe you'd first suspect who's just been kind of blown up Maybe the last couple weeks.
Yeah, just to put the point on how much he's been blowing up over the last few weeks.
In the first nine weeks of the season, Jason Williams was wide receiver No.
41 in fantasy points.
He was, uh, this, now on the season, just because of what he's done since week 10, He is a top 10 receiver in half PPR points.
Like that, That is how crazy he's been.
And that's with, that's with a zero-catch game in Week 12.
That is including that performance.
That's just how insane it's been.
But to that point, That zero-catch game did happen.
You can't be like, Oh my God, Jason Williams busted for me in Week 16.
How did that happen?
Like we've seen a proof of concept there.
That wasthat's my overarching point.
It's like, It's just, it's more scary than you would first suspect going against the Steelers' defense that You think is pretty gettable.
