Well, let's talk about another injured young player.
Jeremiah Love is our running back 13.
We basically have him in the same exact spot.
Where do you think and how do you think he's gonna be utilized coming off this high ankle sprain after the first, well, I should say their second preseason game after the Hall of Fame game?
So I'm pretty optimistic on Jeremiah Love.
His price tag is, like, really, really cheap.
Like, I've been drafting him in, like, the 30s very often- Mm-hmm and I, I think that's just too low.
And I think that's people putting too much emphasis on, like, the first or second game of the season.
We don't know if he's gonna play week one or not.
I'm not that concerned about that, even if he's not out there for the first couple weeks.
At least his injury happened a week or, like, it was about, like, 10 days earlier than Jeanty's, for example.
I think Jeremiah Love is better than, Ashton Jeanty straight up.
I thought that as a prospect.
I think that he has enough size to be a legit bell cow.
I think Tyler Allgeier is gonna play a little bit, but I think that they drafted him third overall to, like, make a point about this, and I think they're gonna give him the rock a ton.
And any player with his college, profile, his draft capital, we have never seen them drafted this late.
And, like, obviously you're on the Arizona Cardinals, there's a reason for that.
But I think this is, like, the most obvious bet on talent situation ever.
And, like, the fact that you can do this, like, in the 30s on a lot of the drafts, I think that is, like, one of the very best picks available.
So I, I got him at 26th overall.
Looks like you have him at 26th overall.
But there's a lot of times where, like, late in round three, like, I'm throwing a party because I got Jeremiah Love to fall that late.
So it's a long season.
You win the money later in the season.
Right.
And to me, this is, like, a very obvious bet on talent situation.
Like, one w- this is gonna be, I think we're gonna look back and be like, "That was rare that we got that opportunity to do that."
Y- yeah.
We're, we're constantly changing our rankings, and it's funny, when you see him on a field, I thought he was bigger than I expected.
And then, you know, how he moved with the ball in his hands, in my mind during that preseason game, I was already moving him up.
Yeah.
And then with the injury and the high ankle on, like, his 14th touch, then it kind of just went back to exactly where I previously had him ranked- Yeah versus moving him and almost double counting that- Correct to move him down even further.
Yeah, he's going in dra- or consensus rankings right now and, and on Yahoo drafts is, like, a 28th overall player.
So I would like to get more and more.
I will say, I mean, I understand the Cardinals, and I like the floor as a play caller.
They have a lot of pass game options.
I mean, they have what?
Four players that you're drafting in the top 100 right now on your platforms.
The schedule is absolutely brutal, you know?
I mean, from week one to week 11, it's Chargers, Seahawks, 49ers, Giants, Lions, Rams, Broncos, Cowboys, Seahawks, Rams again, Chiefs on top of it.
So it's, um- Yeah w- we will see how they're able to get four quality fantasy assets enough points on any given week.
But at the same time- Yeah Mike LaFleur has a history with, you know, a young running back, with Breece Hall during his w- first season in, in, with the Jets, and he was a running back seven in points per game, and that was even with a slow start of 12, 18, and 14 touches- Yeah in the opening three games.
And from there on he's like, "Oh yeah, Breece is my best offensive player.
I'm gonna load him up with touches each and every time."
