Even after winning a national championship, Cori Close is still picking up empty bottles and cans.
It all started as a simple habit.
She just didn't like seeing waste, but now it's part of UCLA's identity.
After every practice and game, the entire team gathers recyclables together.
For Coach Close, it's about more than cleaning up.
It's about teaching servant leadership and selflessness that lasts long after basketball.
Those bottles are returned for five cents each, and the money is donated to charity.
They've even had the opportunity to help buy school uniforms and a computer for girls in Tijuana, all from recyclables.
The reigning national champions just showcasing greatness on and off the court.
