Yeah, I mean, Quinn, I don't know if he ended up as their leading scorer or if it was Jack.
I know Quinn was at the top at one point.
But I mean, such a dominating defender and such a, a new school NHL defenseman.
And again, like on this team, he doesn't have to play 30 minutes a night.
You know, they have a fantastic top six, and fantastic top seven as it would be.
but yeah, I mean, Quinn, you know, a, a perfect, you know, tournament for him.
And then with Jack, as I said earlier, like I think he really found himself in this tournament in terms of internationally.
And, you know, it They're already printing the T-shirts of his gap-toothed smile and, you know, wrapped in the flag, so good on him.
You know what's kind of interesting is like they had two sets of brothers, and, you know, you hear how close this team was.
And, you know, I'll, I'll talk not just about the, the Hughes brothers, but the Tkachuks.
And the word was last night that they were talking about like that was the room to be, to be in basically.
Like their door was always open, and like everyone was kind of hanging in the lounge.
And it had very much like a dorm room kind of feel with them hanging in the Olympic village.
You know, this was a family, as much as it was a team.
And, you know, lo and behold, they had two sets of brothers on this, and a lot of these guys had to spent a lot of time together playing in the national program.
And- Yeah you know, that's something that Canada doesn't have.
you know, we've got, you know, major junior leagues across the country, but nothing quite like the NDTP.
And a lot of these guys really did grow up together, and they had each other's backs.
And I loved the moment, and Ryan wrote about this beautifully in, the Hockey News, about them bringing out, you know, Johnny Goud- Goudreau's jersey as well as his two young kids.
I thought that was such a touching moment, and I think it underscored just how close-knit this group was, not just with the players that are there, but the player that should've been there, if not for a really unfortunate and tragic accident.
