I know we kept talking about where does it rank and, you know, I think if it went game seven, we're probably talking about maybe an all-timer.
But Devon, how did you, or how would you rank this Stanley Cup Final that went six games and just had a ton of drama, a ton of back-and-forth action?
Yeah, very, very high.
I mean, the first four games were unbelievable, and game, you know, game five and six were still good, but not quite the same level.
I mean, the, the, the amount of goal scoring and lead changes and drama, overtime, like it was just, it was wild.
And you, you know, everybody was begging for that in games five and six, and unfortunately for, for fans, unbiased fans watching, we kinda got that eventual overwhelming of Carolina, and I think it really kind of showed the most in game six.
It, just to beat them in a seven-game series is so hard because they are just relentless, in your face, and you could just see it wearing Vegas down last game.
They just, even Jack Eichel in the third period, some of the body language, you know, he's on the wall and he's trying to make a play and he'd lose the puck and, and he almost shu- he almost quit.
Like, he was almost done.
and that takes a lot for a player like that to, to show frustration in a close hockey game.
So, I think Carolina was just that good, but we got four absolutely incredible hockey games to start that series and, and I think everybody wanted seven just hoping for one more, some, some more crazy drama.
But I think if that, if that goes seven, it's definitely all time.
but still a really, really, really good series.
