Get a very good showing in the, in the exercises overall.
does this kind of solidify him as that number one pick that Toronto should take?
I think so.
And, and if you were looking for Gavin McKenna kinda to check off some boxes, I think he did that this week at, or at least this past week in Buffalo, Ryan.
And you gotta remember, Gavin McKenna skipped the world championships, and he could have easily have been representing Canada, played there, then gone to the combine, but he really wanted to take that time off and train for the combine.
So he goes to Kelowna.
He trains, for specifically the combine, and as you mentioned, first in the VO2 max test, fourth in the isokinetic squat test, eighth in force plates, force plate jumps, and eighth in pull-ups.
I don't know what half of those are or what they measure, Ryan.
Yeah.
But all I, I care about is Gavin McKenna in a group of, like, 100 prospects, finished in the top 10 in four of them, won one of them, and finished in the top five in another.
Like, that, that is checking all the boxes.
And I talked to his agent, Pat Brisson, on Friday, and even Pat was saying that, you know, for his interview process, you know, he interviewed with Toronto, he interviewed with V- Vancouver.
Vancouver took him out for dinner.
Toronto actually visited him in Whitehorse, in his town, before the combine.
And, you know, from all respects, like, the interview process went well.
So again, Gavin McKenna, if he wants to be the number one overall pick, he's done everything he can this off-season to solidify that spot.
