49ers Draft: 2027 Three-Round Mock Ahead of Week 1

It's never too early for a mock draft

Video Transcript

So we know there's talent, and we know this team has a recent proof of being good.

I think a lot of people are sleeping on this 49ers team.

Christian McCaffrey's evidence that age doesn't automatically mean decline, and that's something important here.

311 carries, 1,202 rushing yards, 10 touchdowns, 102 catches, 924 receiving yards, and 7 receiving touchdowns.

That's 2,126 yards from scrimmage.

Started all 17 games, AP Comeback Player of the Year, and finished second in the NFL in scrimmage yards.

So yeah, he's 30 freaking years old, but he has generated more than 2,100 yards of offense.

So I'm not closing the championship Super Bowl window on this 49ers team.

You got Christian McCaffrey.

You got Mike Evans.

You got some dudes, okay?

And George Kittle, I think, will be at full health.

If George Kittle can be healthy That's the problem, though.

Over a duration of NFL season, you're coming in and we're talking about all these guys.

If they can stay healthy, if, well, he can stay healthy.

That's always been the problem with this 49ers team.

It's never been the talent.

It's never been the talent, just the availability.

You know, say you plan a boys' trip, right?

You and all your boys are going somewhere.

And the best Y- you know, you always want, say, Jarvis.

You always want Jarvis to come on the boys' trip, right?

But Jarvis is always freaking sick around the time we always try and go on the boys' trip, and Jarvis can never come.

Well, Jarvis just, no matter how fun and great Jarvis is, he's never available for the boys' trip.

And that's sometimes what happens with this 49ers team.

Concern is not just age, it's availability.

Because you look at Brock Purdy, he started nine regular season games last year.

Kittle, 11.

Well, appeared in 11.

Fred Warner, in six before the anchor, ankle injury.

Nick Bosa tore his freaking ACL.

We already know Pierce was battling knee problems or battled them last year, and he's hurt.

What I'm trying to say, Shanahan consistently and constantly operated without pieces of his ideal roster and still went 12 and 5 and still beat Philly at Philly.
