49ers HC Kyle Shanahan Was Holding a Cell Phone but Wasn't at Fault for his Crash

It seems all the details of Kyle Shanahan's horrific crash are finally coming out.
This is on a public government website, data.ca.gov.

Apparently.
Kyle Shanahan was either cited or noted for holding a cell phone during the crash but was not deemed to be at fault.
The other driver was deemed to be at fault because the other driver swerved into him while they were passing each other.
It was a head-on collision .
So what's interesting about this is just because Kyle was holding a cell phone, it doesn't mean he was at fault or he was even distracted, because if you're holding a cell phone at a red light, they will give you this ticket and it's a $20 ticket.
It's basically a stern warning.
So this doesn't necessarily mean that Kyle did anything nefarious or that he was distracted, although I don't know, maybe he, he could have been, but he was not at fault.
The other driver was at fault.

It's strange that it took this long.
In retrospect, it makes sense that Kyle Shanahan and his family wouldn't put the information out themselves.
Uh, it probably would have done the Niners some good to put it out sooner just so it didn't look like they had anything to cover up, um.
But it's out and it's public information and we know and it seems like it's done.
So the important news is that the other driver isn't injured really at all it seems um well I guess we don't know that for sure, but does it list it there aren't any serious injuries listed and for Kyle it seems like while there are some serious injuries he's gonna be OK so um.
Thank goodness and hopefully he's back coaching soon.
