I can't believe it.
LeBron James is a Philadelphia 76er, and if you've been trusting the process this entire time, it feels like a championship is coming within the next one or two years here.
A two-year, $8 million deal.
It's certainly team-friendly for the Sixers.
Continue making moves.
When you look at the starting five, you'd probably take them with anybody.
I mean, you got your franchise piece in Joel Embiid.
You have your superstar up-and-comer, Tyrese Maxey.
You have one of the best young players in the NBA in V.J.
Edgecomb.
And then you also went and got Jaylen Brown, a former NBA champion, and who's someone who's trying to rewrite his narrative in the league.
LeBron James is the cherry on top of this summer sundae for the Sixers, and if you're trying to figure out how to bet this team for this season, plus 220 to win the Atlantic, plus 370 to win the East, plus 9-1 to win the NBA Finals.
All three are interesting prices.
I would like to try and get a better price on the Finals, 10-1 or better, but I think that's where I'd be playing this team, 'cause they can compete in the Eastern Conference.
If they suffer an injury, you'll get a better price on them to win the East than plus 370.
But it certainly looks like this starting five can compete with anybody, and LeBron James made the right move to end his career, possibly, in Philadelphia.
