I mean, at first I wasn't like feeling any emotion.
I was trying to focus on the game.
But then I seen Coach Groves kind of tearing up when he did the walk out, and it kinda got to me a little bit, just like looking around, like the crowd, the atmosphere, just the culture like the school has.
And I was thinking back to like when I started and like where I came from.
So it's I just appreciate Akron so much for showing me so much and developing me as a player and a man.
So I, I love this school.
Yeah, it's, it's really bittersweet.
having a great career.
We won a lot of games here, undefeated the last two years.
But like Monty said, when, Groves got emotional and after the game when everybody was saying bye to us and how much they appreciate the seniors and all that, it made me realize how lucky we were to have a support staff and fans like we did at Akron throughout the, throughout the four years.
Yeah.
for me, I-- honestly, it's very like surreal.
It didn't really feel real.
Like, I'm not gonna lie, the first five minutes it was kinda like, dang, like this is the last game.
Then I had to lock back in on it.
We got business to handle, but like, just looking back, like I don't really leave with no regrets.
Like, I wouldn't change anything.
Feel like we won a lot here, had a lot of great teams, and had a lot of success, so I'm very grateful for the opportunity to play here.
