So it was with 1:50 left- -instead of six seconds.
Yeah.
But the shot you hit against Kent State, did Was there anything in your mind connected between those two moments, that one set the stage for the other or prepared you or, in any way?
honestly, I feel like that shot built me up for, the championship shot, honestly.
Like, Coach put me in a position, that was after a timeout, he drew up that play, and he trusted the ball to be in my hands in that moment, and I made a play.
And I feel like same thing happened in the championship game.
He put the ball in my hands and, like, he trusted in me, and I just appreciate it.
You guys have made history- -repeating the MAC championship.
What would it mean for this team to, to finally get that tournament win, the NCAA tournament win?
it means the world.
Like, obviously, like, we gotta go out there and perform, but I feel like we put the work in to, to get that type of win.
We just gotta go out there and play hard and just be confident.
How do you think you guys match up against Texas Tech?
I'm familiar with their team, but I'm not too familiar with them.
I know they're a good team overall, but I don't We'll look into that on tomorrow moving forward.
So if you're just looking at yourself, like, what is the blueprint for you guys to play your best game and finally make that history we're all talking about?
I feel like, honestly, we just gotta play Akron basketball.
Like, we're in this position for a reason.
Obviously, we're a very good team, and I feel like if we just stay together and play hard and just execute on our game plan, I feel like we can beat anybody
