The Alabama Crimson Tide has the chance to make some big news this Friday because five-star cornerback John Meredith is gonna make his commitment, and Alabama is heavily believed to be involved in his process.
And for Alabama, this is exactly what they need.
Because coming off last weekend, where you had four-star linebacker Kenneth Simon decommit, despite the fact that he wasn't even committed a month, despite the fact that you poached him away from the Tennessee Vols, Alabama really needs some good momentum in the '27 class.
Of course, they've got some good players, right?
Elijah Haven, Trent Seaborn, Nyzo Newkirk.
But the truth is, they don't have a lot of players.
So if you can make this class be more quality over quantity with a guy like Meredith, with another corner like potentially Hayden Stepp in the coming weeks, it would be major for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
