It was an ugly thirty to three loss in which Simpson may or may not have been benched.

He wound up being sidelined in the second half.

with that being said, Simpson was thought to be a day two pick, probably the second best quarterback in the class coming out after Dante Moore decided to return to Oregon.

But of course, the number one guy is thought to be Fernando Mendoza out of Indiana.

Well, with that being said, Ty Simpson's, stock has, has risen dramatically.

ESPN's Dan Orlovsky has kinda argued that, a lot of other NFL teams think that Simpson might be the better quarterback, over Mendoza for this, this draft.

it remains to be seen exactly how high, Simpson will rise.

He probably won't be taken by the Raiders number one, but there are a lot of quarterback needy teams, that could take him in the first round of the, the N- NFL draft.

I really don't-- twenty twenty-six NFL draft.

I really don't think he, he'll wind up going past the Pittsburgh Steelers in the twenties, but we'll see.

I mean, 'cause you have the Jets and quite a few teams above them that need a quarterback.

We'll see how high he goes, but he's, he's-- he doesn't appear to be a day two pick, at this point in March.
