I think the, the fans deserve Clipper fans specifically, they, they deserve something more.
The Clippers have been much maligned throughout my life as second fiddle here in the city.
They're, they're always the butt of the joke, and for once, once you, once you get past the, the, the sports arena days, once you get past Donald Sterling and all that entailed, here comes Steve Ballmer, you know, at the tail end of Lob City, and it looked as if the fortunes of the franchise was going to turn around.
They built their own stadium, their own arena to get out of the shadows of the eight, 17, 18 banners that hangs inside of Forever Staples.
I would not refer to it as its current name.
And, and even though I, I've referred to Intuit Dome as the Sports Arena with bells and whi- whistles, I say that in jest.
Only for everything that has transpired since 2019 when Kawhi Leonard signed with the Clippers to be all smoke and mirrors.
And I feel so bad for any person that, that genuinely supports this franchise because you see how, how much the organization is in disarray from top to bottom.
I heard John, you know, referred to, you know, Lawrence Frank as a snitch.
Lawrence Frank saved himself.
He did.
I, I think he saw the writing on the wall and was like, "Hey, in the event that I want an opportunity to get another job, I need to be forthcoming and tell the truth."
Listen, if you think that the Clippers are the only organization to do something like this, I have a, a loft on Century and Grape Street in the middle of Watts with a fantastic view of downtown Los Angeles to sell you.
Listen, this is so pervasive in the world of sports.
Billionaires do not become billionaires because they're altruistic or- Thank you they're just, you know, above ground.
This is the price that every A- Any person that has a B after their name, this is the price of business.
This is how you amass wealth.
This is how you accumulate power.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
It's in the shadows, and it's often done at the, at the, at the expense of, of, of people beneath them.
I, and I hate using that word 'cause I don't believe in social stratification.

For so many people, they want politics and economics to be separated from their sports.
Newsflash, it is impossible.
It has been, and forever will be inextricably intertwined.
Politics and sports goes hand-in-hand, and I think what we're starting to see is the machinations of how business is conducted as it pertains to the world of billionaires, millionaires in these, these f- franchises and leagues where it, it's a billion-dollar industry.
And so it's-- I, I think this is just the tip of the iceberg, man
