Andy Green, Juan Soto and Luis Torrens on 'gutsy' Mets win in extras
Interim Mets manager Andy Green called the Mets comeback win in Atlanta "gutsy." He described Juan Soto as the best hitter in the game after three-run bomb in the ninth put them ahead. Freddy Peralta called him "amazing" and his mental toughness is on another level. Green wasn't surprised at Luis Torrens ' huge two-run double in the 10th inning, having managed him in San Diego a decade ago and admired his ability to do whatever it took to help the team win.
