With the Angels, bouncing back, getting one against the, the Orioles 4-1 there.
I believe the Orioles might be on their way south, Craig.
Is that correct?
Is the Orioles are on their way to, to Miami for a series?
Angels.
Angels are up next.
Angels, right.
Okay.
Well, they're on their way to Texas then.
I knew it was one of them.
I couldn't figure out if the Angels were on their way home.
So Angels are on their way, to Miami for the Marlins.
Yeah.
So that's good news, for the Marlins- I hope who are getting ready to take on Atlanta coming up.
Now, you said Prez, the lefty, you have mentioned, y- I think it was yesterday that he's actually been pretty good here, especially- Very good since he, since he came back, right?
Now, he- he's no spring chicken, we know that.
But he has been- Yeah actually better than I think people realize, which may explain why they haven't gone out and they didn't do anything crazy pitching wise, at the break, Atlanta.
Yeah.
They, they did try to get deGrom and it didn't work, and they made an offer for Skubal and it didn't work, and those are big upgrades of course.
But Prez, when he faces a line-up that has six, seven lefties, he generally- performs very well.
Now, for him tonight, Miami is sitting every lefty they have except for Kyle Stowers, but then the quality of, of the righties that Miami puts in is certainly not gonna be as good as it would be- Right if they had those lefties in.
So that's sort of the difference there.
So you're getting a lot of guys sitting for Miami tonight, including their catcher, Joe Mack.
So, yeah, I mean, look, for, from my, from my perspective in, in watching the Marlins play the last two nights, and I'm hoping this, this changes, Joe, but they're coming out real sluggish with the bats, man.
It has, it has just been- They are it's been disappointing.
And, and it's not like their pitching has been bad.
I mean, Yuri Prez did give up four runs yesterday, but he struck out, I think, 9 or 10 guys.
He, he just Look, every, every guy in the Braves line-up can hit, so it, it doesn't matter how many outs they have or how, who's on base.
Any guy that comes up can hit a home run or double in a run.
I, I know that this is gonna be a tough match-up for Miami tonight even, but the good news is, as you said, they face the Angels this weekend, and on paper Miami is significantly better than the Angels.
And especially Saturday's match-up, they have Sandy Alcantara Miami does pitching on Saturday.
If he throws three innings, he'll be the all-time Marlins innings leader.
I would suspect that he will get that.
Now, also earlier today we got to see another shiny new toy, you know, show what he's got, and Dustin May looked pretty good once again- Mm-hmm for Milwaukee, today.
That was somebody that they had gone out, and trade- We knew St. Louis was, they were, they only had him for a year, so anything they could get in return from him, you knew they were going to.
But he's picked up right from where he left off, you know?
He's, again, for that pitching staff of Milwaukee, sneaky good with that 5-2 win today.
Perfect guy to have in Milwaukee's rotation.
Five, six innings- Yep and just hand it over to the bullpen.
And by the way, as we talked about, Kyle Harrison pitched very well, last night.
Yes.
But he did have to come out of the game, so I'm not sure what his injury status is and exactly what's going on there.
But th- th- this is why they got some more reinforcements, and I thought May was fantastic today.
And, you know, tough trade any time you have to trade in the division, but St. Louis did send him to Milwaukee.
Brewers have the best record, I believe, in Major League Baseball right now.
So yeah, B- Brewers are just firing on all cylinders, and I hate to just- go over it o- you know, every day, but when you're playing, when If you're betting against the Brewers when they're at home, just expect to lose money, 'cause they just don't lose.
