Anton Frondell & Arvid Soderblom Join Blackhawks Headed To World Championships
The Chicago Blackhawks are sending a handful of players to the IIHF World Championships, including Anton Frondell and Arvid Soderblom.

Yeah, Lou, looking at, Chicago and all the areas where they need to improve, do you think their defensive pipeline is one of them, or near the top of the list?
Well, I'll tell you this.
When you, when you trade away a Seth Jones, that was your top dog there.
So you need to find a replacement, obviously, to out of your younger guys to see if there's anybody that can jump up and, and kind of be, be that stalwart for them.
I think they, they better hope that they hit a home run with Levshunov.
He's the one that I think has to be the guy that, that's gonna have to be that unicorn for them.
He and Wyatt Kaiser's another one to keep an eye on because I remember back at the Winter Classic, there had been some quiet high praise talk about this kid, a local product who, th- they, they were, they're really banking on to kind of be, I don't wanna say that top unicorn for them, but somebody that maybe they didn't initially think could be one, but could, ultimately be up or near where somebody like a Levshunov is.
He's the one, though, that I really think is gonna have to be the one to be that guy for them and, you know, you take him number two overall.
coming out of Michigan State, he had himself a heck of a collegiate career, and I think they're doing the right thing with him by slowly bringing him along instead of throwing him into the fire right away.
They always tell you, a defensive prospect is much more difficult to groom and, and, and to nurture, and to bring along.
And it, it is a much tougher position, and I think they did the right thing with him there.
The, you know, Connor Bedard, you know, generational player.
Hey, you know, you're gonna, you're gonna throw him into the fire right away.
But yet you're right.
I think, from a forward group, keep an eye on Nazar.
I liked him as well.
The time I got to see whenever they played against, St. Louis, really showed himself i- in a good light.
But Levshunov, ke- that's the one that y- everybody needs to pay attention to here.
Keep an eye on him because, you know, they went high on him, and, and, and they're gonna have to hope that he's gonna be the guy that takes this next generation and wave of players in Chicago, back to where they were before.
