Antonelli Wins US Grand Prix From Pole, Moves to Brink of F1 Title

Kimi Antonelli started from pole and controlled the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas. He ran a one-stop Mercedes strategy and beat Ferrari's Charles Leclerc by 13.078 seconds over 56 laps, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen third. It is his ninth win of the 2026 season and takes him to 365 points, 123 clear of teammate George Russell, who finished eighth. In Mexico City he can become Formula 1's youngest world champion if he loses no more than 23 points to Russell or 24 to Lewis Hamilton.
