Askarov on Goalie Duel With Bobrovsky After Sharks Loss

Sharks goaltender Yaroslav Askarov breaks down a calm, economical bounceback performance in a loss, saying it was probably one of his better games of the season. He calls Sergei Bobrovsky a legend he watched growing up, admits facing him gave him extra motivation, and credits the veteran for a strong night in what felt like a goalie duel. Askarov also agrees the Sharks have been a little unlucky lately and says he felt he played much the same way in his previous start against Boston.
