And as I mentioned, you know, looking at the pitching, it was kind of rolling along there for a little bit, but you're gonna end up giving up back to back three spots in the fifth and the sixth, and that would do you in, as this is just unlucky for Blewitt.
Yeah, it's unfortunate here.
I mean, but man, he gave you everything that you could ask for.
He still gave the team an opportunity to get back in this game.
Luis Medina kind of forced into the situation early on.
I mean, he's been so successful later on in the game, but now he's in the situation where he has to be perfect.
A lot of times, you know, some of these guys, they need to start an inning clean with nobody on base.
But you're finding out a lot about these guys' character and what they're capable of doing and what they're not.
For me, Luis Medina has had a tremendous year.
A guy that struggled early on.
You knew the stuff was there, it was just a matter of him learning and understanding pitching.
So he's the one guy that I'm not worried about right now.
And if you see there, that was all ground balls.
And that's All we have talked about is ground ball rate because of Sacramento and the way the ball flies there.
You need to find pitchers who get ground balls.
So if you get beat on ground balls sometimes, I'm not gonna be worried about that, 'cause that's what we're looking for, keeping the ball out of the air and the ball on the ground.
But of course, it's turf, it's fast, shoots through.
But you get As a pitcher, you gotta feel if you get a ground ball, you did your job.
I think that's a tremendous point, Tony, for the simple fact that the damage is minimized.
I mean, you don't see any ground ball homers inside the parkers.
I mean- Haven't, haven't seen that, haven't seen that ground ball go over the wall yet.
Not one time.
So, I, I, I think you're absolutely right.
And it's a lot to learn, especially for a ball club that's not pitching in a pitcher-friendly environment.
But to understand when you go on the road and you pitch and you keep the ball on the ground, that works in any ballpark.
So I think the mental block is, is real, and, understandable, and I, I don't think any of them recovered after that two days in, Las Vegas, man.
I mean, that was, phew- A whole week guys had to wear it.
Oh my gosh.
Whole week.
Whoo.
You, you- Say, by the way- still tired from that trip w- when, when, we're by the pool at the Red Rock- it was a lot of I'm ready to go back.
I could be in Vegas right now.
