Pretty good.
Over the plate.
That's what you gotta do.
Nice.
That's nice.
I mean, we thought Miles Garrett one was good.
That one was, yeah , Miles was good.
All right, Dexter, let's go, man.
It's, well, LaGarrett and I were just talking about, it's wild how much of a struggle it is for guys that don't play baseball to sometimes throw a baseball, right, right.
No, I agree, man.
It's, you know, you got some, you got some, some, some bad videos and examples of.
What not to do whenever you're throwing out a first pitch.
So not Dexter.
A plus Dexter Miles, they're killing it.
Uh, we're gonna use the first pitch to get into a little Bengals discussion using baseball scoring, home run, single, error, steal.
Uh, the Dexter Lawrence trade will be a blank for the Bengals.
Learre, you are batting a leadoff in this segment.
I'm gonna say a home run as well I'm gonna say a home run.
The offense will, I feel like the offense will continue to operate, um, at an elite level, um, you know, having Dexter Lawrence, Lawrence come there, um, and be a big part of that.
He brings, he brings a big element of dog that they have, that they don't have on defense, right?
He brings a, he brings a lot of personality, um, and he has, he has a .
A lot.
He's, he's done a lot in his career.
Everyone knows that Dexter Lawrence is a big time playmaker.
I mean, you see him right here, you see him right here getting picks.
Run, big man, run.
So man, I'm, I'm, I'm a big fan of him.
I'm, I think it's gonna be a home run.
I think it could possibly be a home run.
Um, Burrow stays healthy.
Dexter Lawrence stays healthy, man, these guys, these guys can kick off running.
Hold on, keep playing that play right there.
Keep playing that clip.
That is why right there, that's why I retired.
Hey, there's no, there's no way that a man that large and that athletic should be running that fast, and that is what is, that is why I'm gonna say it's a home run, and this is why Mitch has talked about the two guys in the middle.
It's not just Dexter Lawrence, it's Jonathan Allen.
Now, uh, if I am a linebacker, that is paradise in front of me because if you don't double those two.
I'm going to run all over the field and make a whole bunch of tackles, and so.
Number one thing they wanted to do was shore up that run defense, and they did that by bringing those two monsters in the middle.
But this is what I think they did, um, that I thought was brilliant.
Uh, they brought in championship DNA.
You brought in Boye Mafe from the Seattle Seahawks who just won a Super Bowl.
If you wanna learn what it takes to win a Super Bowl, bring people in that have actually won it.
My favorite signing was Brian Cook, 2 time Super Bowl champ with the Kansas City Chiefs, but this is why I also love the Brian Cook signing.
He isn't just a Super Bowl champ, but he played in Kansas City with Coach Spaggs.
What does Coach Spaggs wanna do?
He wants to run man coverage, and he runs man coverage in a very specific way.
It requires a lot of communications, and if you are.
A safety, you're the guy that's communicating everything and coming into Al Golding, his 2nd year, Al Golden loves to run man coverage.
Now you have an air traffic controller that has done it on the highest level in Brian Cook.
So I thought what they did this past offseason was tremendous, Mitch.
You know, I don't read and, and sometimes I don't think, but this question had me thinking.
I was gonna put it as a triple.
But it absolutely, to y'all's point.
Is a home run.
Did we correct you on TV?
Yeah, you did.
That was very cool.
That was nice.
It felt good.
Let's go.
And I mean, let's go, we've talked about those guys at nauseam, especially those two interior defensive linemen.
It's the second year under Al Gordon.
Let's see what that kind of poses and gets these guys going, but also just kind of the shift in where you put, uh, the pressure on the defense or in the defense rather.
If you looked at the Super Bowl teams last year, the Seahawks and the Patriots .
Those interior D-line for both of those teams are for the Seahawks, Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy, and for the Patriots are Christian Barmore and Milton Williams.
Defense does win you championships, and interior disruption helps the defense.
Home run helps the linebackers, helps everything.
It, it, it, it's, that's what I said was the biggest difference between the Seattle Seahawks defense, Denver Broncos, and all of that.
It was those two interior, those three interior guys that they had, they were monsters, Sarah.
Well, and that's why we heard Joe Burrow say this week that this is the best team that he has had in Cincinnati.
You guys all went home run.
Nobody goes grand slam.
The Bengals hope they knocked it out of the park with a grand slam.
