How would you assess your round today?

Yeah.

You know, started out nice.

Kinda had trouble with the green speeds all day.

But I hit it beautifully.

I drove it pretty good.

Just played a little sloppy in the middle.

But overall was, was a nice day.

Hit my irons beautifully.

Got the ball to the hole.

For the most part, kept in the right spots.

And the two mistakes I made, I guess I, I kinda managed them pretty good.

Kinda of had a tough time chipping on the fourth, and then it rolled behind me, and I two-putted from off the green, which is a great five there, and made a little sloppy five on the last.

But kinda managed myself well when I was in trouble too, which is nice.

You've already been in some good halfway positions on the PGA Tour, in Canada and Punta Cana, among others.

What did you draw from those experiences that you think can help you this weekend?

Yeah.

You know, it's just, it's just golf at the end of the day.

It really doesn't matter.

Yeah, every- everybody makes it bigger than it is.

It, you know, it really doesn't matter.

If I could just do the right things, next couple of days, I'll be in a good spot.

What do you think it is about your game and your mental space, your style of play that has allowed you to have so much success so quickly in your PGA Tour career?

Yeah.

You know, I think I have a great team around me.

It's not, it's not an ind- individual sport, even though it seems like it.

And a great caddy.

And you know, I've just been really trusting my ball striking.

You know, I've been rolling it nice, even though people say I haven't.

I've almost gained at, at putting at every, every week so far.

Actually probably didn't putt too good today, but yesterday was a great day on the greens.

So you know, everything's been pretty good.

Game's been good.

You know, I'm just I, I love that I keep putting myself in great positions.

That, that's all that, that's all that matters.

Your peers Jackson Kovak and Michael Thorbjornsen have won back to back weeks on the PGA Tour.

How does that help your own level of self-belief that you can get it done as well?

Yeah.

You know, it's cool to see.

They're both my good buddies.

Ja- Jackson's a really good buddy of mine.

We play every Tuesday.

You know, so, you know, I'm Again, it doesn't matter.

I'm just gonna do the best I can and, have a great weekend.

Appreciate the time, Ben.

We'll see you this weekend.
