Browns rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston is reportedly working with the first team offense in practices during training camp.
Boston is the second of the two rookie wide receivers they drafted.
They take Casey Concepcin in the first round, then early on day two, specifically pick 39, they follow that up with Denzel Boston.
Two very different players, both with strong skill sets, very different skill sets coming out of college.
I do think we see, even with highly drafted rookies, a lot of times coaches will slow play them, force them to work with the backups, and I'll note on the unofficial, but I think maybe still has some signal training camp depth charts we've gotten, at least for the first one, a lot of times we will see them listed with the backups.
That is not the case for either Casey Concepcin or Denzel Boston, both of whom were listed as starters, and more importantly, have been working with the first team extensively in training camp.
To me, this pretty much solidifies their starting wide receiver trio of Casey in the slot and Jerry Jeudy and Denzel Boston on the outside.
We know Jerry Jeudy's numbers fell off a cliff last year.
They've talked him up this off-season, but I think when they talk him up, I think of it more as a veteran presence situation, whereas I don't think he's much for the future of this team.
That's why they drafted both Casey and Denzel Boston, and I know this is going to be truly a bad offense, but it's one that will also be paired with likely a worse defense with the loss of Myles Garrett and could be pumped up with empty, but fantasy purposes, who cares?

To me, we don't get to make many late draft picks that have true talent-based upside in our fantasy leagues.
You get pretty cheap prices on both Casey and Denzel Boston, and for that reason, I'm buying both in training camp right now
