Trade deadline is a little over, little more than a month away, right?
We're looking at August 3rd.
That afternoon is the deadline.
And I've been going back and forth about what is the bigger need, a big bat or a power arm, right?
Reinforcing the offense, reinforcing the rotation.
And I don't necessarily think that these are mutually exclusive, right?
It's not like you do one or the other.
You absolutely can do both.
You can do both of these things.
But in an effort to be realistic, as in I don't wanna sit here and say, "Go get Scoobel, go get Yordan, go get Byron Buck," that's not realistic.
Trying to be realistic here.
What is the best path forward?
So let's look at the need for an arm.
Let's look at the need for a bat, and let's figure out some potential frameworks of what you might do
