Braves on the road against the Nats.
This too feels like maybe some runs are coming in it here tonight, Craig, no?
Y- yeah, it's a strange little two-game series here between Atlanta and Washington.
And Atlanta, to no surprise, has dominated Washington completely this season.
They've won eight out of the 11 games that they've played.
And, you know, there's, there's a couple of concerns for the Braves for me.
Tonight is not one.
I think tomorrow could be.
But Jake Irvin, to me, Joe, is an instant fade for Washington, and they went through all of their good relievers yesterday to get Miami out, and I think they're ba- they're back to the bad relievers tonight.
So I'm gonna back Atlanta tonight in this.
My only concern a little bit with the Braves would be that their entire season to win the division comes down to the four-game series this weekend against Philadelphia.
They can put this to bed with a series win, three out of four.
If Atlanta beats Philly, that's it.
It's a wrap.
Put it done.
It's, it's not July or August anymore.
If they take care of business, then I think that they could do that.
I just think, Washington used up everything they had against Miami to, to get wins.
And yesterday, Dylan Lyle, who hit two home runs, was named the National League Player of the Week.
Joe, he's hitting 500, in his last 27 plate appearances.
So he is the one bright spot going for Washington.
Give me Atlanta, though, tonight.
I can't trust the Nats.
I, I don't know who they'd pitch out of the bullpen tonight.
Jake Irvin is not gonna throw five innings.
He's going to give up a lot of runs.
I know he pitched very well against Colorado last week, but his last four starts against the Braves, his ERA is over five.
Again, give me Atlanta.
Yeah.
I, I think Atlanta's in a good bounce-back spot, but I can see some runs coming in this one here.
I mean, the We had mentioned it yesterday.
If it wasn't for that awful bullpen of the Nats, I think they've got the second most runs scored in Major League Baseball.
They And how can they be this bad and under fi- Oh, that's right, 'cause the bullpen is absolute trash there, and that's exactly what has cost them here
