George, thank you, guys.
Right now it's time for our Toyota Play of the Game.
This is Willy Adames.
He's stealing a base here and then taking third when the throw gets into center field.
And the reason we're showing this to you, just one play on a day when the Giants had a million hits and scored 16 runs.
They stole three bases for the second time in the series.
You have to go back to 2023 to find the last time Milwaukee gave up three stolen bases.
They are usually a team that runs you to death, the Giants, in this series.
Georgia, it's something I've wanted to see all year.
They kind of took a page out of Milwaukee's playbook, but they've really done that all of July, been caught once in July.
All of a sudden, they're the top of the league in stolen bases after being dead last at the end of June.
A different look for this team, but it's a good look.
It is a good look.
I, I mean, when, when you're playing a team that is as dangerous on the base paths and in the batter's box getting to the bases as the Milwaukee Brewers are, it's kind of nice to take a page out of their book.
But I also think that it might have had a little bit to do with the fact that the guy behind the plate today wasn't Contreras, and it was somebody named Gary Sanchez, who traditionally has not been a good thrower.
Gary Sanchez came up with the Yankees when I was still back with the Yankees.
So, not that it's necessarily all his fault, but the fact that you're, you're running and trying to get more aggressive on the base paths I think is something that this ball club has historically done.
We have done this, and it's nice to kind of see that.
And Willy Adames made a really heads-up play there, sliding into the bag, noticed the ball got through, and ended up on third base.
And we used to call them runs, runs thrown in, or, or R- the RTIs- RTI, yeah with Gregor Blanco.
But when you can force the other team to have to make plays and keep them on their heels and, and, and forcing them to make plays like that, good things tend to happen, and we saw it happen today.
I think you just called Gary Sanchez old, but they stole three against Contreras too.
