Brendan Sorsby won his latest legal battle against the NCAA after a Texas judge granted the Texas Tech Red Raiders quarterback a temporary injunction to remain eligible for the 2026 college football season.

A judge has granted an injunction that will allow Texas Tech transfer quarterback, Brandon Shores be to play this season after sitting out the first two games as part of a suspension.
This doesn't quite bring an end to the gambling scandal that has engulfed his transfer and really cast a shadow over potentially his final season in college football.
The NCAA could still attack this thing and try to keep Shores be off of the field, but it's looking more and more like this is the latest head-scratching, earth-shattering moment in a crazy landscape for college sports.
