What excites you about him as a second year quarterback?
I mean, man, Darby operated like this last year, so it's not really nothing, you know, it's not really a surprise to see that he, you know, has that much attention to detail, and he's very intentional about his work.
But, you know, just to see that from such a young player at such a young age, you know, it's promising.
And, I, I'm glad that he's continuing to strive, you know, doing that, so.
And if- Beyond the slide in, what else have you seen from him just over the last two weeks, like- him really focusing on, you know, staying in the pocket, going through his progressions, you know, making the right decision, making smart reads.
You know, we obviously know he can create.
We know he can, you know, hurt a lot of defenses with his feet and, his just playmaking ability.
But him being able to, you know, steer the defense the wrong way, you know what I'm saying?
Just going through his progressions is, is very impressive.
Where has Jaxson made the biggest strides in training camp so far, from the beginning to now?
At first, I would say he was, he was pretty pissed off with a couple things at the beginning because of, you know, a lot of guys are trying to figure out everything.
We're trying to learn the playbook, and now that the guys know the playbook, everything's running a little bit more smoother.
And, he's not, having to, you know, help everyone out.
We can help him out, you know?
So it's, it's about, he's calming down more so that he can just play quarterback.
Doesn't have to help out everybody much so much now.
What's your relationship like with him?
With Jax?
Oh, we have a great relationship.
Smooth.
We had a nice little, nice little event out in, Vegas.
Got to hang out with each other a lot there.
And, Jaxson's a cool guy, man.
I'm happy to be a receiver for him.
