Brock Purdy's Clean Start: One Interception, Zero Sacks for the 49ers

A quarter of the way through the season, Brock Purdy has thrown just one interception and hasn't been sacked once. The analyst gives the 49ers offensive line some credit for the zero sacks, but says most of it comes from Purdy sliding in the pocket, scrambling out when he needs to and turning possible losses into gains. The breakdown calls him everything a team wants after handing a quarterback a big contract, and says he could be even better once his missing weapons return. It also argues that Purdy and Kyle Shanahan now see the game the same way, running the system at what the analyst calls a PhD level.
