Broncos Add Local Defensive Coordinator To Their Coaching Staff
New coaching staff hires usually come with an extensive, wide-ranging search in the NFL, but the Denver Broncos skipped the "wide-ranging" part, hiring defensive coordinator Robert Livingston of the Colorado Buffaloes as their defensive pass game coordinator. The move was reported by multiple outlets and reporters, including Jeff Legwold of ESPN and Luca Evans of the Denver Post.

So there's a little bit of vulnerabilities there.
on the Broncos side, we've got the best cornerback in the NFL.
Don't even come at me with that.
Patrick Surtain, we know he is the best.
He's the GOAT.
Riley Moss, very, controversial guy among Bronco fans, right?
controversial guy among the NFL referees, as well as he's blatantly getting targeted, and it is something that is talked about well outside of Broncos media, for, defensive pass interferences.
But I'll say this, he's the most targeted cornerback in the NFL.
Naturally, it's gonna happen opposite of Pat Surtain, and the completion percentage is, like, fifty-five percent.
Really good player, physical, good in coverage, has his moments, sure, but I love his ability to move on to the next play, and he's very good in the run game as well, at tackling and bringing all that.
So very underrated player.
and then you got Ja'Quan Barron, who's our first-round pick, that they've kind of utilized all over the field.
He's not a starter, but they'll put him in the nickel, and they'll sometimes play him outside.
Our nickel is Ja'Quan McMillen, who we talked about previously.
One of my favorite players on this team, man, 'cause he makes big plays in big moments, just consistently.
Love Ja'Quan.
Look at the first game against the Broncos and the Bills on prime time, I think it was on a Monday night in Buffalo.
He had a huge fumble where he rips the ball out and they get the recovery.
Really good player.
So by going through all that, I think that it's pretty obvious and pretty clear that the Broncos got the advantage here in the secondary.
I think the Broncos have one of the best, probably the second-best secondary in the entire NFL behind the Houston Texans.
just a really stout room, very deep room, very disciplined, good tacklers, and so they got the edge, there in the secondary room for the Denver Broncos.
