Bruins Can't Keep Squandering Jeremy Swayman's Excellent Play
Jeremy Swayman has been playing excellently this postseason, and the Bruins can't keep squandering it.

Yeah, I, I think that, you know, Marco Sturm, his best teams, and, and I always go back to, you know, the German Olympic team that he coached, th- they're not big goal-scoring teams, right?
They're defensive, structured teams, and, and he's had a lot of success there.
Yeah.
I suppose the, the problem is when you, when you need to get a goal or two, it might not be as easy, uh- Sure than if you were sort of a, a high-flying, you know, up and down the ice team.
Obviously, David Pastrnak is their most important weapon.
but they had some, you know, players that, you know, had breakthroughs, or have been very good for them- Yeah that don't necessarily have that same experience that Pastrnak has.
So, I mean, maybe this series is just a bit of a wake-up call for a Bruins team that, you know, is in a bit of a transition with some good young players coming up.
but they're gonna have to kind of learn on the fly if Boston wants to extend its season.
Yeah, Ryan, this is not your daddy's or your mommy's, Boston Bruins.
Like no Patrice Bergeron, no Brad Marchand- Mm-hmm.
Yeah and e- even no Bruce Cassidy.
Like, three hallmarks of a really, you know, defensive, team, a team that- Yeah can shut it down when you do have a lead.
Mm-hmm.
So, you know, I, I guess that is the transition that we're seeing in, in Boston.
But, you know, you, you gotta believe that, you know, they're gonna score more than just a, you know, a, a goal or two a game to win the series.
And, it's kind of surprising.
Like, a team with Giese and Pastrnak hasn't been able to fill the net more because going into the series, I think the knock against Buffalo was they play a high s- you know, high-flying, back and forth game that was gonna be conducive to allowing- Yeah a lot of goals as much as it was to scoring a lot of goals, and we kind of haven't really seen that yet.
