Buccaneers Blank Falcons 16-0 Without a Single Completed Pass

Baker Mayfield went 0-for-3, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still shut out the Atlanta Falcons 16-0 in heavy rain at home, running for 324 yards. Tampa Bay is the first team since the 1933 Boston Braves to finish with no completions and more than 300 rushing yards. It is also the first since the 1945 Pittsburgh Steelers to win by double digits without completing a pass. Bucky Irving ran for 170 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries and Kenneth Gainwell added 140 on 25, making them the first teammates in NFL history with 25-plus carries and 125-plus yards each. The defense picked off Michael Penix Jr. a career-high four times, and both teams now sit at 3-5.
