Buccaneers' New Coordinator: Mayfield Has 'Right Stuff'
Zac Robinson recalls Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield's intense preparation, highlighting the quarterback's dedication and skill even after an emergency signing with the Rams.

...Zach Robinson and Baker Mayfield have worked together before.
And during his introductory press conference as Buccaneers' offensive coordinator, Robinson talked about that experience.
This is Joe Smeltzer with Bucs Roundtable.
It wasn't a long working relationship.
Mayfield was only with the Rams for 5 games.
In 2022, coming in as an emergency quarterback after injuries to Matthew Stafford and the Rams' backup that season.
But Robinson remembers: one late- the week that the Rams signed Mayfield, Mayfield got a sheet about 20 to 25 plays that night.
And the next morning, Mayfield's book was covered in highlighter and color-coded and organized, that stuck out to Robinson.
And obviously, Robinson stuck out to Mayfield, too, because, as reported by Adam Schefter, Mayfield's relationship with Robinson was a factor in him being made, made the Buccaneers' offensive coordinator.
This is the ninth coordinator Mayfield has worked under in nine seasons.
