Caio Borralho says Khamzat Chimaev doesn't deserve UFC title shot
Caio Borralho outlined the UFC middleweight title picture as he targets a late-2024 return following a rib injury withdrawal from UFC 330. He said he has resumed full training and expects to begin camp soon, evaluating the UFC middleweight title landscape and his route at 185 pounds. Speaking to MMA Fighting, Borralho mentioned Joe Pyfer and Brendan Allen as potential opponents and estimated one or two wins before a title shot. He remains open to rebooking Pyfer but prefers a higher-ranked contender. He argued Khamzat Chimaev should not be next and backed Nassourdine Imavov to challenge Sean Strickland, citing their prior short-notice bout.
