Caitlin Clark made more history Tuesday night during the Indiana Fever's one hundred six to ninety-two victory over the New York Liberty.
Clark entered the game with one thousand five hundred eighty-nine career points and reached one thousand six hundred with five fifty remaining in the second quarter.
Facing two-time MVP Breanna Stewart, Clark created space and knocked down a twenty-eight foot three-pointer, giving her eleven points on the night and putting her into an exclusive group of WNBA players.
Clark reached one thousand six hundred career points in just eighty-two games, tying Stewart as the fifth fastest player in league history to reach the milestone.
Cynthia Cooper-Dyke holds the record, reaching one thousand six hundred points in her seventy-second game.
Seimone Augustus did it in seventy-three games, while Elena Delle Donne and Arike Ogunbowale each reached the mark in eighty.
But Clark's biggest achievement of the night went beyond scoring.
Entering the matchup, she had four hundred and two career rebounds and six hundred and eighty assists.
By reaching one thousand six hundred points, Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to record at least one thousand six hundred points, four hundred rebounds, and six hundred assists.
She accomplished the feat in eighty-two games, beating Sabrina Ionescu's previous record of one hundred and two games by twenty games.
And Clark delivered across all three categories against New York.
She finished with twenty-two points, ten assists, and four rebounds, while shooting seven of fifteen from the field.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with twenty-eight points on eleven of sixteen shooting, including twenty-one points in the first half.
The Fever's offensive performance helped them improve to twenty-one and twelve, moving them ahead of Atlanta in the standings.
New York dropped to twenty and fourteen.
The victory also gave Indiana its second consecutive win as the team continues building momentum toward the postseason.
Clark and the Fever will return Friday to face the Dallas Wings.
She'll enter that game having already secured another piece of WNBA history.
