Cardinals' Slugger's MLB-Best Fourth Double-Digit Hit Streak Finally Showed Power
Cardinals' All-Star and Home Run Derby Champion Jordan Walker has compiled four double-digit hit streaks in 2026 -- the most in MLB. His current 10-game hit streak included a much-needed homer on Saturday night to end a 22-game skid without a long ball.

Don't look now, but Cardinals all-star and home run derby champion Jordan Walker is streaking again.
Streaking as in putting together another double-digit hit streak.
Walker currently has a 10-game hitting streak.
It's the longest in active hitting streak in Major League Baseball right now after collecting a hit on Monday night against the Phillies.
Get this, it is Jordan Walker's fourth double-digit hitting streak of the season.
That's the most in baseball.
Nobody in baseball has more than three.
Jordan has a 15-game streak, a 10-game streak, a 12-game streak, and currently a 10-game streak.
The most important aspect of this current 10-game hitting streak was the home run that he hit on Saturday night against the Rockies.

Seeing Walker hit that home run late Saturday night was big for a lot of reasons.
First off, he was 0 for 4 in the game and d- didn't get a ball out of the infield early on, but then he hit that towering 430-foot home run.
That was big because it was his first home run since July 9th, and it broke a 22-game streak without a home run.
As we kn- as we all know, Walker kinda His power kinda ground to a halt in July, so the Cardinals wanna see him hitting the ball hard again.
They wanna see him driving the baseball.
Here And since July 1st, 26 of his 38 hits have been singles.
You know, he Yes, he's putting together these hit streaks, but the Cardinals need to see him driving the ball.
They need him to, to hit for power, rack up the doubles a- and home runs because, you know, he, he's one of the guys that can provide the thump that this lineup needs.
Since July 1st, he has seven doubles and five home runs.
That's fallen off a little bit, of course, from early in the season.
Let's look back early in the season when he had the 15-game hitting streak from April 4th to April 20th.
Walker had seven home runs during that stretch.
When he put together a 10 gamer from July s- June 2nd to June 13th, he had three home runs in that stretch.
He had a 12-game hitting streak from July 7th to July 21st.
He had two home runs in that one.
And like I said, during this current 10-game streak, he has one home run.
So seeing Walker hit that long ball on Saturday night was good for a lot of reasons.
It relieved some tension.
It was his first home run since he hit those six in a row during the All-Star break to beat Kyle Schwarber and make all of Philadelphia angry.
Now the Cardinals need to see him driving the ball more, hitting the ball over the wall more.
Walker has the second-most hits this season of 107 miles an hour or more.
Only Junior Caminero has more than Walker.
Walker, Brant Brown recently said, Cardinals hitting coach Brant Brown recently said that he thought that, that maybe fatigue was hitting Alec Burleson, Ivan Herrera, and Jordan Walker a little bit in July because this is the most baseball the three of them have ever played.
A- as far as Walker, he's played in 115 games this season.
He's actually gotten a hit in 87 of them, and he hasn't gone longer than three games at any point without a hit.
But by Wednesday, he will pass He will set his career high in games played.
So this is the most he's been in the lineup ever because of those struggles from the first three years.
Yes, he's hitting the ball.
Yes, he's racking up the hits and four straight Four double-digit hit streaks.
But again, the Cardinals need to see him driving the ball over the wall, driving the ball in the gaps of the doubles.
Seeing him hit that home run, long home run on Saturday against the Rockies was good for a lot of reasons and, you know, the Cardinals are hopeful that more home runs will follow, as the season progresses.
