Cardinals Throttle Dodgers with 13 Hits, 5 Home Runs in 13-8 Demolition of LA
Thomas Saggese hit two homers, Jordan Walker, Joshua Baez and Ramon Urias also smashed long balls and Leo Bernal drove in two with his first MLB hit as the Cardinals demolished the Dodgers 13-8 on Tuesday night. Making his MLB debut, Bernal delivered a big hit in the Cards' five-run third inning.

For whatever reason, the Cardinals have been one of Major League Baseball's best offensive teams on the road this season.
At Busch Stadium, however, not so good.
That trend held up again on Tuesday night as the St. Louis Cardinals throttled the Dodgers for 13 hits and five home runs in a 13 to eight victory.
It was the most runs the Cardinals have ever scored at Dodger Stadium, which opened in 1962.

Thomas Sajecy hit two home runs.
Jordan Walker had a home run.
Ramon Yuris hit a home run.
And Joshua Baez added another home run as the Cardinals ran away from the, from the Dodgers.
They scored five times in the third inning to, to break the game open.
Yuris and Sajecy hit home runs in the second inning to give the Cardinals a two-nothing lead, and then the Cardinals scored five times in that third.
One of the biggest hits in that third inning came from rookie catcher Leo Bernal, who was making his Major League debut.
Bernal hit 107.6 mile per hour line drive into left center field to score two runs during that big third inning rally.
The Cardinals, I mentioned, how good they've been on the road this season.
Cardinals came into the night averaging 5.09 runs per game on the road.
That's third best in baseball.
However, at spacious Busch Stadium, they only averaged 3.81 runs per game.
That, that road average is going up after what they did on Tuesday night to the Dodgers.
Here's another one.
This was the 10th time that the Cardinals have scored at least 10 runs this season, and nine of those have come on the road.
Then there's another one.
Jordan Walker, had dr- hit a two-run home run, later in the game to give himself 99 RBI on the season.
A whopping 68 of those RBI, the most in baseball, have come on the road this season for, young Jordan Walker.
So it was a good night for the, for the Red Birds and all.
Leo Bernal finished one for five with two strikeouts, but it was a great debut for him.
Cardinals requested the ball, after his first hit, and that'll go in his trophy case in Panama City, Panama.
Michael McGreevy pitched five innings, gave up four earned runs.
Three of them came when Walker and Jos Fermn collided, the ball, sprang free, and three runs scored with the bases loaded.
But still a good night for Southern California native to get a victory back at Dodger Stadium.
Again, big win for the Cardinals.
They start off this three-city, nine-game road trip with a, a, a beatdown of the Dodgers.
Thirteen hits, five home runs, 13 to eight victory.
