Carlos Mendoza, Clay Holmes and Francisco Lindor talk anemic Mets offense, Holmes' injury, Lindor baserunning

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza pointed to a "lack of traffic" on the bases as the Mets offense continues to sputter. Francisco Lindor appeared to make a baserunning mistake in the Mets only sustained threat of the game in the sixth inning but despite being thrown out at third, Mendoza felt it was the right play. The only positive news was that starter Clay Holmes , who left the game with a hamstring injury, is confident that he will be able to make his next start.
