If anybody knows anything about good cornerback play in the NFL, it's probably a good wide receiver.
And that's exactly what makes this endorsement from Chad Johnson for Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Mansoor Delane so cool.
I don't know if Mansoor Delane has a Twitter, but someone please tell him I see him.
He's one of them ones that makes your job easier as a coach.
Now, the Chiefs obviously have a ton riding on Mansoor Delane this season.
They traded up to get him in the top ten of the twenty twenty-six NFL Draft in the same off-season which they moved on from Trent McDuffie.
It's the latest example of the Chiefs moving on from a highly compensated player, or a soon-to-be highly compensated player, in favor of draft picks to keep their long-term forecast looking healthier and their books balanced.
They did it with Tyreek Hill.
They now do it with Trent McDuffie.
And if the Chiefs successfully pivot off of Trent McDuffie with Mansoor Delane, boy, does it change the outlook of the Chiefs getting back on the horse and back in contention in the AFC West and in the AFC as a whole.
We still have a lot of information to collect before we know for sure, but endorsements like this one from Chad Johnson certainly feel good in the hope for optimism that this transition goes smoothly for the Chiefs.
