Challenges and Unpredictability of the San Francisco 49ers
Despite injuries and scandals, the San Francisco 49ers remain highly competitive in the NFL, demonstrating great resilience. Can they return to the postseason?

And the, this Kittle thing is just another example of guys not having their wires lined up.
Like this shouldn't happen, whether this was a miscommunication between him and a trainer, or this might have been a situation where Kyle Shanahan has a lot going on in his personal life.
And so therefore, having all this information and being up to speed on all this, it, you just missed one, and then it turns into this.
And it's, it just, it just seems like a lot of their wires are not crossed, and it, and it just You're, you're off to a bad start and you haven't even played a game yet.
They are such a weird organization, John.
They're so weird.
It's like they, they, they over-perform a lot of the times.
Like last year- All the time they, they had no business getting to the second round of the playoffs last year.
No.
They had no business.
They had no business even being in the playoffs, and yet they did.
And then you- And you also get Bosa hurt every year.
Right.
And Bosa's, you know, he's even recovering from a torn ACL, and you have Fred Warner who is coming back, technically coming back from a broken leg even though he's been healthy for a while.
You have all these different injuries with the substation issue, and, and now Mike Evans, you know, is, he's, he's got a groin, and a toe, and a hammy.
And like, like you said, all these different types of injuries, that's just one part of it.
And then you go to all the theatrics around the 49ers- Yes where they have, they haven't won since, you know, the 1990s.
They haven't You know, th- this is a team that has gotten to the Super Bowl multiple times.
Their owner is, like you said, in that prostitution scandal, and it's like my God.
But, but somehow when football starts, the Niners- They win are as c- as competitive as can be.
I don't get it.
I, I do not understand the San Francisco 49ers, and this is why I say everybody that, that asks me, "Well, how do you think the Rams are gonna do this year?"
I say, "Well, I'll tell you what.
Those two 49ers games are gonna be either g- gonna be close or they're gonna lose one of them."
Either they don't get- 'Cause that's just how they play each other those games are either gonna be ugly- Yeah or those games are gonna be nail-biters- Yeah one way or the other.
Ca- a- and that, and that blowout could go in either direction because these teams know each other so well.
And so I, I just think everything that's going on with the 49ers, man, it's a classic example of sometimes these organizations are so big and we're not, we're not really aware of how everybody's going in different directions until you get something like this where all their locker room business spilled out with Brandon Aiyuk, all their personal business spilled out with Shanahan's crash, and all their front office informa- situations spilled out with their owner getting popped for prostitution.
And so it's, it's just a lot.
It's a lot.
And if they don't get off to a good start, you clearly can see why.
Yeah, this, this team, I wouldn't be surprised if they get off to a bad start, and then they end up seven and five at some point or something like that.
Yeah.
I just think it's- That's kind of what they do they just never die.
A- as much as like Niners media and fans love to just absolutely crush them, just give it some time
