Chiefs' Biggest Priorities In Free Agency Will Impact Draft Strategy
The Kansas City Chiefs have obvious needs on both sides of the football. How they handle those needs in free agency will affect their draft strategy.

And let me tell you right now, he may be an un- he may be a free agent, I don't know if he's unrestricted or whatever, but he may be a free agent, but that dude is not going somewhere else to play football.

I mean, Kansas City is his home.
He was drafted there.
He spent, you know, the last, 13 seasons there.
13 seasons, I believe.
he's not gonna go someplace else.
And if he retires, he retires.
I mean, that's, that's just the thing.
I mean, we just gotta wait and see.
But everybody keeps asking the question, you know?
And so when we get an answer, then, then we'll all know too.
But until then, the dude's living the best life ever.
Yeah.
He's got nothing to complain about.
No.
No, he's set.
But if he feels good enough to come back, and I know you mentioned, you know, several times in the last few weeks, you don't wanna see him come back and get hurt, which I agree.
I don't wanna see him come back and, you know, end, end his career with a knee injury or something like that, but man, he still looks like he's in good shape.
He does.
How many more records can that guy break in one more season?
Oh, I mean- Probably a couple, I'm sure he- there's gotta be a couple out there that we don't really know about.
The big one is the most yards, and I think he's trailing Jerry Rice or something for that, or, whether that's I don't even remember exactly what it is, but he's not gonna get it one season.
It just, it's, it's almost nearly- Right impossible, so unless he would blow out a 10,000-yard season by some weird coincidence.
But, I just, but, I mean, it's Travis Kelce, he could.
And, you know, who am I to say he can't?
May- maybe 1,000.
I'd like to see him get one more 1,000-yard season.
1,200.
1,200 would be- Another Super Bowl ring, and, just go off and ride off into the sunset and be a happily married man and, and, enjoy life.
Right.
