Chiefs' Josh Simmons Apologizes After Reid, Mahomes Send Him Out of Meeting
Josh Simmons has apologized after Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes told him to leave a Kansas City Chiefs meeting on Wednesday, according to sources. Reid asked Simmons to take his feet down. Simmons said his back and hips hurt, and Reid sent him to the athletic trainers. Sources said the meeting stayed disrupted until Mahomes also urged him to go get treatment. On Thursday the Chiefs put Simmons on injured reserve with a bulging herniated disc in his lower back. He will miss at least four more games, starting against Seattle, and the earliest he can return is Week 11 against Arizona on November 22.
