These Chiefs Are Struggling To Find A Foothold In Preseason
The Kansas City Chiefs have had some great battles in training camp, but these players have been less than that.

Eric Bieniemy is back at training camp.

Listen, this is the third week in a row we've talked about this.

Good to have you back, Eric.
We're happy, so happy to have you back.
This is the third week in a row we've talked about this as our opener, and I still say it is, big, big news.
It's, it's only been a couple weeks.
He's only been gone, he's only been gone a couple of weeks, which doesn't seem like a lot to me.
But Mia is doing great, and, he felt confident enough that the people taking care of her, will take really good care of her.
So back to training camp he comes.
The players are ecstatic to have him back, and even this I mean, i- he just came back a, a day or so ago, and the, the clips already was like you can hear him out there just getting after everybody, making sure everybody's accountable, making sure everything is right, exactly how he wants it.
And he's not afraid to raise his voice and tell those boys what's what.
And, that's what they need.
I think that's what they need, and I'm excited.
Hopefully, maybe some of these little, on-field skirmishes will, default maybe now that Eric's back, and, you know, they will take more, into account that he's there and will bust their chops.
And- He will he, he'll, he'll He's not gonna put up with that crap, man, I'm telling you right now.
But, yeah.
How do you feel about Bieniemy coming back?
I, yeah, I think like you said, you know, two weeks when it comes to training camp Well, two weeks doesn't seem like a long time, but when it comes to training camp it's a long time for a coach not to be there to take care of his players and teach them his ways when you have your backup coaches coming in, doing it their own way.
Now he's gotta come in and kinda restructure that.
