The Cincinnati Bengals Could TRADE Kris Jenkins Jr. for This

Chris Jenkins Jr. Has been the prime trade piece for Bengals fans even long before training camp and early in the part of the off season when the Bengals hadn't signed a linebacker at all in free agency, and they were thinking about him as, like, the definitive piece that could be used to trade for a starting linebacker.
Considering he's a third-year defensive tackle, a former second round pick, obvious NFL bloodlines, but is now being slowly phased out of the defense plans here with Jonathan Allen, Dexter Lawrence, and B.J.
Hill all in front of him, including T.J. Slater, I would add.
He is not going to be used to trade for a linebacker as the Bengals are completely bullish on starters Demetrius Knight and Barrett Carter, but he could be used to trade for a backup offensive tackle just like Slater.
And this now makes even more sense considering we have confirmation that Landon Robinson can play.
Had Robinson not confirmed his evaluation this past month, including practices in training camp, I wouldn't feel as comfortable using Jenkins as a trade piece.
But now, when it seems like Jenkins is firmly on the roster bubble, it makes sense to see what you can get for him in a trade if there's a team that has an offensive tackle backup that the Bengals just don't have.
So Jenkins still makes the most sense as a player the Bengals could trade for another player, but unlike what we thought early in the off season, it's just not for the position that we previously assumed.
