Costello van Steenis, Johnny Eblen rematch booked for July at PFL Austin

The Professional Fighters League scheduled a middleweight title rematch for July 18 in Austin, Texas, following last year's championship bout decided in the final seconds. The Johnny Eblen vs. Costello van Steenis rematch headlines at Moody Center and will air on ESPN2, with prelims on the ESPN App. The PFL middleweight championship is at stake after van Steenis won by rear-naked choke with nine seconds left on July 19, 2025. Eblen (17-1) rebounded with a first-round submission of Bryan Battle. Van Steenis later retained the belt with a Round 3 TKO of Fabian Edwards on March 20 in Madrid. Main card starts 8 p.m. ET.
