Could The Canadiens Trade For Help In Net?
The Montreal Canadiens haven't had good goaltending this season, but could they go out and get some help in front of the net ahead of the deadline? It seems unlikely.

Ryan, let's start you off here.
Where Like, which team should be eyeing Bob, as we get closer to this deadline?
And, you know, could you see a fit, in one of those teams?
Yeah, I mean, the irony is Edmonton would be, you know, a perfect spot for him, right?
You know, the team he, bedeviled twice in a row, to win that cup.
you know, we were just talking about it.
They, they need goaltending.
I know before we got on you were, you were saying, like, maybe, you know- Yeah if, if Florida retains salary and they send Tristan Jarry the other way, maybe that's a deal that, that makes sense.
Otherwise, you know, you s- you think about some of the other big contenders out there, and surprisingly there are teams that have questions in net.
You think about the Vegas Golden Knights, you know, just in terms of, like, health and, like, consistency in the crease.
And then Carolina's very interesting because they have, you know, one of the massive breakout players of the year in Brandon Bussey, but he's never played an NHL playoff game.
He's only played 10 AHL playoff games in his career, so he doesn't have much of a track record there.
You never know how a goalie's gonna react.
I mean, maybe he has a Patrick Roy-esque, you know, 1986 run in him, or a Matt Murray run, or maybe he doesn't.
If you're Carolina, you have to look at this year and be like, "Boys, we gotta make it to the Stanley Cup Final.
Like, this is ridiculous," right?
We've come so close, so many years and fallen short, you know, either in the conference final or the second round.
you know, we can't rely on Freddie Andersen.
and Bussey, great story, but is he the answer?
We don't know.
So are they a team could maybe take a chance on Sergei Bobrovsky and say, like, "This is the guy that's gonna put us over the hump," especially since Carolina has had trouble scoring as the playoffs go in.
if you got Bobrovsky in net, you basically only have to score two or three goals to win a hockey game.
