Could the Giants Trade for Colts Running Back Jonathan Taylor?
The Colts dropped to 2-4 with a home loss to the Titans and fired general manager Chris Ballard on Monday, which has fueled fire-sale talk in Indianapolis. The Giants have backfield problems of their own. Coach John Harbaugh is worried about his running backs holding onto the football, and the team cut Najee Harris on Tuesday after he complained about how the backs were used. Through six games Taylor has 492 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns, 15 catches and 163 receiving yards. One proposed package would send Kayvon Thibodeaux, a 2027 first, a 2028 third and a 2030 sixth to Indy, but a deal isn't considered likely right now with the November 10 trade deadline coming up.
