This could really, really kill the Eagles' offense.
Now, I don't wanna be overdramatic here, but let's look at the facts.
The Eagles' offense works because of two things.
They've got a very strong run game.
Now, I know last year they had a lot of struggles.
I'm mostly talking about the Nick Sirianni/Jalen Hurts era here.
They run the ball very well, very efficiently, with one of the best offensive lines in the game, maybe not so much in 2026.
And that forces the defenses to load the box and leave the wide receivers one-on-one.
A lot of the time, they face man coverage.
And the problem is, A.J.
Brown is a monster in one-on-one situations.
A.J.
Brown can beat you outside the numbers.
He can go up for the football and win contested catch scenarios.
And honestly, time after time after time after time, A.J.
Brown was bailing out Jalen Hurts.
Now, I'm not blaming Jalen for using A.J.
Brown the way that he did, but if you really watch the film, you know that Jalen wasn't creating a lot of stuff over the middle of the field.
It was all those outside throws where his wide receivers went and made plays, 'cause I'm gonna include DeVonta Smith here.
Now, it's true the Eagles prepare themselves for this situation
