So the Cowboys are solving one of their biggest roster problems, but not really.

Let me talk to you about this.

The Cowboys made a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers for offensive tackle Broderick Jones.

Now, we're talking about a former first-round pick.

However, Broderick Jones has not met career expectations, and he is coming off of a season-ending neck surgery.

And it was kind of pricey.

The Cowboys are giving up a third-round pick and a sixth-round pick.

They are, however, getting back a fourth rounder.

I did the math, and this basically equates the Cowboys giving up a fourth for Broderick Jones.

Which leads me to this.

The Cowboys are making this deal because they wanted a better swing tackle than Nate Thomas and fourth-round pick Drew Shelton.

And this dude may not be a quality starter, but I think he's that.

I think he's an improvement to your depth.

So you tell me, net value of a day three pick good enough for a swing tackle that might give Terence Steele some competition?
